Summer: you can easily spray water with a garden hose to clean the surface or if you prefer to use a high pressure washer you can, as long as you maintain a safe distance 2-3 feet above your rubber. 

• Winter: A great thing about rubber during winters is that it makes it easy to clean, technically ice doesn't build up over the surface, you can easily shovel or blow snow from the surface.

Rubber is an incredibly resistant and flexible material, unlike concrete or asphalt that crack overtime, rubber can easily be installed in difficult areas such as around existing playground equipment, tree roots, pathways and due to its flexibility the surface will require minimal to no maintenance.

It is very resistant and flexible with both high and low temperatures. It is also more cost effective over it's life span; will generally last between 15 to 20+ years.
